The Los Angeles ORM agency has heard that earlier this month, there was an internal briefing at Apple obtained by the Outline sheds new light on how their Global Security team employs investigators, secrecy members on product teams, and rigorous screening to prevent leaks. Apple believes that the leaks have been coming from its employees in Cupertino, California and the supply chain in Asia. Sometimes, the company will even buy leaked components to prevent details from reaching external sources. Back in 2013, Apple had reportedly purchased 19,000 iPhone 5c enclosures ahead of its announcement and are hoping they wont have to do the same.
The Los Angeles ORM agency is pretty familiar when it comes to unwanted information leaks, which is part of the reason why they are in business in the first place. One thing that was leaked was ‘’I have faith deep in my soul that if we hire smart people…ultimately they’re gonna do the right thing, and that’s to keep their mouth shut.’’ Tim Cook has realized that secrecy of Apple’s new inventions and products is extremely important and it has also become a huge problem for the company. Apple is now building a team to come after these leakers an apparently it has been quite the success. Apple ‘s biggest leaks happened first when parts were stolen from factories in China and those parts ended up getting shared with the press and they even sold iPhone5’s that were leaked on the black market.
All you hear about lately is how so many tech companies are having unfortunate situations occur to them, first with Uber’s yearly scandals, now with Apple’s leaked voice recordings, with Waymo’s stolen files from Uber and even with Binary’s co-founder who resigned due to harassment files from women that worked there. These tech companies need to smarten up and focus on delivering some new gadgets instead.
